Reach Europe, change the world. That call to action has never been as true as it is today. Europe is the most influential continent on the planet, and Europeans are the least responsive to the Gospel. Europe is now considered a post-Christian continent where only 2.9% of people claim a relationship with Jesus. With mass migration and rapidly changing social, political, and cultural shifts, the need for transforming discipleship across the European continent has never been greater.

To help bring new workers to the many fields across Europe, Gene serves Growth International through communication, marketing, and media. His passion is to clearly communicate the Great Commission to Christians in North America and in Europe, leading them to ask, “Am I called to serve Jesus in Europe through disciple making and growing Christ’s church?” Gene’s work is often done through various forms of media, sharing captivating stories from the field, and by personally engaging followers of Jesus while visiting churches, college campuses, or wherever he finds them.

Inga’s heart is that missionaries who transition to various fields do so in the healthiest of ways so that they can thrive in their service. Too often, very capable missionaries are lost to the intense stress of navigating foreign cultures. Inga desires to see missionaries cared for by providing administrative assistance to GEM’s HR director and VP of People and Culture to help support those in the field. She also hopes to begin working with GEM leadership in developing a healthy, consistent onboarding process for missionaries newly arriving to or changing to another field.

This is desperately important as she seeks to see missionaries and families going from merely surviving to thriving where God has them.
